As we announce to you it earlier during the month of September, Geoloc Systems had the honor to represent the first European project CO-GISTICS completely dedicated to the C-ITS applied to the transport and logistics.

To do it, we realized demonstrations from 10th to 14th October 2016 aboard a bus of the company MURRAY’S Coaches.

At this beginning of October, Melbourne welcomed the first world demonstration of the C-ITS during the 23rd International Congress.

For the first time various technologies of the various suppliers met in Australia and Geoloc Systems was able to exchange with these various leading players of the world market by the demonstrations of interoperability of the V2V and V2X on the various intersections of a main street of the center of Melbourne (Clarendon Street).

The partners of the Congress (CO-GISTICS, COHDA WIRELESS, KAPSCH, NXP, Q-FREE and ROBERT BOSCH AUSTRALIA) came from every corners of the world in August, 2016 with the TCA (Transport Certification Australia), the official partner of the demonstrations of the Congress.

VICRoads equipped 7 traffic lights to create a connected urban corridor. The open demonstrations demonstrated the V2V and V2X technologies create to improve the efficiency and the safety.

It include the technology of phasing of traffic light to optimize the traffic based on the V2I connectivity with vehicles which provide to the drivers alerts and the communications on the conditions of the traffic road, the height of bridges, the detours, the accidents as well as the advice of speed (Green Light Optimal Speed Advice).

Delegations present to the demonstrations to Albert Park Lake, place of Australian Grand Prix (F1) were able to experiment our C-ITS solutions. Geoloc Systems had the pleasure to meet and to explain its C-ITS solutions among others with the Australian Secretary of roads, Mister Mark Craig Bailey and his assistant director, with whom we had an official exchange.

From Tuesday, October 11th till Friday, October 14th, 2016, Geoloc Systems pursued the demonstrations for the general public and the present representatives.

– The innovative and multimodal platform NOSCIFeL, with the services Cargo transport Optimization: appointment setting, transport order, mission orders, the dematerialization of transport documents and the tracking of the transportation of goods in particular the transport of hazardous goods via GEOTRANS MD as well as the platform of calculation CO2 and GES.
– Our GLOSA system: Green Light Optimal Speed Advice.
– Our service start/stop idling.
